Get Active this April with PALS and Move Moira

We're excited to share some upcoming free community events this April as part of Move Moira, Moira Shire Council’s Active April 2026 initiative.

PALS is facilitating a number of Active April events across the region and open to people with disability in our community at no charge. There's something for everyone so read on to check out what’s coming up!

Cobram

  • Event: Free Community Activities to get you moving

  • Venue: Cobram Federation Park

  • When: Thursday 9 April from 10am - 12pm

Nathalia

  • Event: Community Activities at the Rec Reserve, FREE for all!

  • Venue: Nathalia Football Ground/Rec Reserve

  • When: Wednesday 15 April from 10am - 12pm

Numurkah

  • Event: Free Community Activities to get you moving

  • Venue: Numurkah Apex Park

  • When: Friday 17 April from 10am - 12pm

Try skateboarding in Cobram

We'll have the All Abilities Freedom Frame from Al's Skate Co on site. This is an awesome piece of equipment that allows everyone, regardless of ability, to safely experience skateboarding. A few years ago when we had the frame at a similar event, it was the first time on a skateboard for a number of PALS participants. That's what it's all about!

Come and try session: Friday 24 April

We're also hosting a special All Abilities Come and Try session on Friday 24 April, joined by Valley Sport and NCN Health. It's a fantastic opportunity to get active, meet people in the community, and try something new in a welcoming, supported environment. Entry is completely free.

Whether you're a first-timer or just looking for a fun way to get moving this April, we'd love to see you at one of these events.

Get in touch with us to find out more about how to get involved.
