We were lucky enough to have Brad from the Cobram/ Numurkah Paramedics come to visit and give us the ins and out of the Ambulance. This was a great activity for all involved to help instill confidence if ever found in a situation where a trip in the ambulance may be needed.😀🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑 ... See MoreSee Less

Cycling is a skill that many of us take for granted and it has been a popular program over the past few months at PALS in Cobram. Participants joining in on the fun with the PALS on Bikes Program are encouraged to bring their own bicycles to the program where they can begin to learn the basics of bike maintenance, bike safety and road rules. Of course, the beautiful weather we have had over the past months also encouraged many to enjoy the sunshine by getting fit and active on two, three or sometimes four wheels. PALS had a great deal of interest shown in the program and from many whom unfortunately did not have their own bikes, which stopped them from participating. On explaining the benefits of such a program, the Barooga Sports Club graciously donated two new Malvern Star Cruisers (one with training wheels) and a new Trike, a new bike pump and three new helmets to help grow the PALS on Bikes program. Being a little closer to the PALS on Bikes program than some, our Business Services Manager Mr Paul Quinane recently completed his 321 Ride for Down Syndrome Awareness campaign. Paul had received donations during his ride in March and was not only able to donate $2000 to the Cobram District Specialist School but he was also able to donate a further three new Malvern Star Bicycles to the PALS on Bikes Program. It is hoped that those who join the PALS on Bikes program will use this as an introduction to the joy of riding bikes and it may encourage them to purchase their own bike and continue what they learn in the program; at home. We would like to thank Paul and the Barooga Sports Club for their generous donations and encourage anyone who would like to be involved either as a participant or as a volunteer for the PALS on Bikes program to contact us on (03) 5862 2641. Life’s more fun with PALS and so much more with PALS on Bikes. 🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️ ... See MoreSee Less
